~ GUY vs GAL ~
"GUY and GAL can NEVER be friends" this is wat my colleague said while we were chatting tat day... this sentence often running in my mind now...
WHY ??? WHY GUY and GAL cannot be friends ??? i cant understand... izzit tat there must be 'something' ? hmmm, i dun think soooo... coz, i do have lots of guy friends...

maybe he meant being close friends? cause im sure its easy being just as accquintances, but having a CLOSE friend of the opposite sex is not as easy. sometimes feelings just pop up. but its never impossible right :).

I disagree. Girls and gays (guys too) can always be friends.
i thought of tat last time... coz he is not the only who tell me tat... i juz cant understand...
the keyword here is BEST friend.. AND MORE APPLICABLE when it comes to friends that are in same age...

dont agree with your colleague's statement.
guys and girls can become best friends. most of the time it's just depends on the timing. event same sex best friends are hard to come by, not to mention opposite sex best friend.
but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. it's just harder to come by. when 2 opposite sexes feel very comfortable with each other even before they became best friends (at "good friends" stage), sparks are often created un-intentionally. thus it limits the relationship to go to the higher level (best friends).
i do have male/female best friends... who i seldom contact (some more than 2 yrs) but who are the one willingly come to you when you need helps during 3am on a weekday. (and vice versa for me to them)
understand ? who understands women ? :)
